My friend is Afghany, and when she marks her origin, she puts Asian. She lived in Germany her whole life, and there they considered her Asian. Our teacher told us that she is considered caucasian here (in America). Is that true?

I was just curious cause I thought it would be weird if she was considered white. Just cause she has really dark skin.

I thought afghan is middle east; thus, race should be caucasian.

Just recently someone decided to separate middle easterners into its own race, even though biologically it belongs to the caucasian race.

Contrary to popular belief, race does not depend on colour of skin
