coming from a fat woman, we don't decide to marry a man who hits on us. Skinny woman have this problem too. Sometime after people get married they change. I was in a abusive relationship and I didn't marry the man, I kicked his ***! Some fat woman marry the first thing that come along, as well with skinny woman, because people in their past has knocked them down and they feel like they cant do any better! That's just a part of life. Why do men hit woman is what I wanna know!!!

However, sometimes overweight people might have less self esteem and confidence than other folks due to how they are treated by the outside world. This leaves them more prone to being with people who abuse them, and thinking it is OK to be in a relationship like this. Often times abusers break down the self esteem of the other person, and the result COULD be turning to food for comfort and gaining weight, so the abuse could also be the CAUSE of increased weight...
