Morrissey did some simular stuff after he split. I often get his solo work and the Smith's songs mixed up

As all their songs (and all of Morriseys since) sound the same, you could say any of them are the best. I wouldn't though. I used to be a fan until I learned that Morrisey is just a whiney prat.
