I'm mixed with Black and white. I just currently started dating a white man and am just curious to find out what people honestly think when they see a Black or mixed lady with a white man. I'd like honest answers here, not sugarcoated nonsense.

I have the truth and the truth is lying is most common these days and truthfulness or being honest is most rare! So most of these comments are most likely jaded i have hung out/layed up with several black hotties in the public eye and the facial expressions i read from other white women do not concur with the majority of these white female comments! I also would add that the black ladies clearly stated it was not the size that mattered but how you use it! Or the right touch or moves etc.

I'm a black women who mostly dates white men, but I like all types of men. Some people will stare others won't. What matters is how comfortable you are in the relationship. Some people have negative stereo types like a white man is with a black women for sex and that a black woman is with a white man for financial gain. When in actuality it's just good old fashioned mutual attraction and common interest which develops into love. I live in a great open minded neighborhood. Many of my neighbors are interracial couples...two are black man/white woman...one is white man/Hispanic woman... one is white man/Asian woman...there's a white lesbian couple..and a white gay male couple...and they are all the best neighbors I could ask for....and that's saying allot. You can't put a color on happiness.

Bulabate has a point...I've noticed it too
I was at the mall and my bf wanted to take me shopping. While he was paying for my things the white girl behind let out a sigh and was clearly agitated. Oh well!!! Such is life. The sales lady was white and she was very friendly...she may have a black bf..who knows? I think she was just a nice person.

As a Black woman I feel more tension from the couple as they approach me or viceversa. Also the other way around; Black man, White woman, now that's an interesting situation usually. The man either avoids my eyes or goes the other way. Sometimes he may even walk ahead or behind the woman or walk in another direction. For couples with a more maturity they usually both look at me for a few seconds, I believe to ascertain what my attitude will be. Which is 'hello how are you doing today'?

I'm not meaning to be rude, but why do you care what other people think? I have been in an interracial relationship for the past 5 years. Of course there are people out there who aren't going to agree with what you're doing, but so what? It's not their relationship. You will get stared at and maybe even talked about as you walk by, but what can they do about it? I would either ignore them or grin really big at them and wrap and arm around his waist. Most of the more current generations don't care too much about it, but a lot of the older generations will be the ones to stare and scowl. Don't get mad at them. The don't know how to think any differently about it. Probably due to being raised that way. But it shouldn't matter what other people think about you. If you are happy with your guy, then that's all that really counts.

I don't think much about it. My cousin is married to a black man and they have a slew of beautiful children. My sister's roommate dates black guys. They all seem nice to me, but she was complaining the other day and said she was tired of dating black guys because they were all mean to her. I think she just picks the wrong guys. I have had mean white boyfriends but have never given any thought to dating a black man. I do believe that you can't help who you fall in love with.

I get really really p*ssed!!! Start shouting and find the first thing to throw at them. Then I wake up and realize I don't live in Nazi Germany anymore and people are entitled to thier own lives. Afterward I am happy with myself and no longer interested in killing others because they are a little different than I am. Afterall, genocide has never gone over too well.

It bothered me at one time. Now that I am a much more mature woman I can accept the fact that love is love no matter the color skin the heart is packaged in. Stop letting it matter what other people think cause what really matters is the depth of the love that you and your man have for each other.

Good luck and good love....

I guess I hope they love each other enough to live through all the things people will say. But then I wonder that about all mixed couples.
