can anyone tell me the maxium amount for social surcurity disability for a woman with 5 children?

I believe the amount depends on the amount you or your spouse was making an hour at the job you were holding at the time of your disability.....as was my case.
It may help you to call Social Security's main number and get the number of the area you live.
I feel that if you have 5 children, they should accommodate you accordingly....I never did understand the Government...It seems that they want take care of the people that come here illegally before they help the poor people living here legitimately....
