There are to type of twins. There are those where the egg is split into two parts. These are maternal twins. Then there is the rare case where to eggs get fretalized at the same time. These are not twins but brothers.

my friend has two kids like this, and he calls them his twins just as a joke. It seems he was out partying with his mistress one night, and then went home and had a similar party with his wife the same night. Nine months later within hours his two kids were born on the same floor of the same hospital.

test tube baby!!! its like the mother that gave birth to a black child AND a white child at the same time because of an unclean test tube. seriously, it happened my senior year in highschool, its in the "world happenings" section of our yearbook. crazy huh?
but i would go with differnt mom, same dad, crazy luck on the timing.
