Have your tried Fashon Bug?? They have a lot of cute styles & they carry a cute plus sized section. You could even try Deb's plus they have a lot of nice clothes too. Lane Bryant has some nice jeans but most of their clothes are for the more "mature" woman.
I hope you are able to find what you are looking for, good luck!!

I use to be a plus size girl and I use to go to Lane Bryant (loved it)and Ashley Stewart. Ashley Stewart was OK except for the cloths were kinda bright and cheap. When they opened the Torrid at our local mall I was in an 8 by then and I said to myself "Dag, I wish this store was here when I was larger." But anyway, you said you didn't like that store. As far the what to wear, that is hard because I don't know your body type. Body type makes a big difference in deciding on what looks good on you. Check out the magazine call Radiance, it's a plus size magazine. Check out the models w/ your body type and see if you like what they are wearing. Also, check out the web and see the different styles. Hope this helps!! Good Luck

Have you tried Lane Bryant? I realize that some of the clothes are more appealing to adults, but they have brought in a new line of jeans (venezia-I think) that seem targeted at younger women. Also the last time I was in Old Navy they had really expanded their plus size department. As for the 2nd part of your question... wear clothes that make you feel beautiful and confident. Your teen years are for exploring and finding out who you are and that includes developing your personal sense of style and the image you want to present.

The same question for plus sized teens as plus sized adults. Finding cloths that fit and look nice is hard! You may want to try Lane Bryant, but they do tend to be a bit older, though hardly old lady.
As a plus size myself, I'd just remind you not to wear clothes you shouldn't. No low cuts or belly revelaling tops. Nothing skin tight, (except maybe up top,if you have it, flaunt it...) No short shorts or mini skirts. A preppy look tends to look nicer on plus sizes then the trendy of the trendy...
You will pobably always have to do a lot of shopping to get something you like, but slowly you'll find stores you like more... One thing to avoid are cheap items, they tend to look horrible on plus sizes. No Walmart or K-mart please...
Good luck

First let me say that I am plus size, always have been. Anyway, I like the Zandi line of jeans that Fashion Bug carry, they look stylish & have about 4% spanex for a nice fit. The prices aren't bad either; jeans costs about $30-40 & they always have some type of sale.

Banana Republic have most of their clothes in sizes up to 16. Their clothes are stylish and simple all at once so they'd look really good on you.
Check out some of the jeans they have in size 16:

Try Old Navy, they sell jeans up to size 20. Lane Bryant might be a good place, also.

I am very thrifty when it comes to clothes. So I go to Wal-Mart, Goodies, and at some of the Thrift stores like Goodwill and Salvation Army. I know some people don't like shopping there but you can always wash the clothes before you wear them.
