i'm a metallica fan, and wanted to get this tattoo : http://www.eviltattoo.com/mi1051.jpg...
(and justice for all album, picture of the broken scales of justice)

my friend thinks it would piss a lot of people off, especially in the tattoo community... what do you think?

link don't work, but i am familiar with it. I don't understand what you mean. If you like it, thats all that matters. Its going to be on YOU forever, not them! Don't get something though that you think you will someday regret, i have a couple of those, but it's too late now!

I second that, the link didn't work. I don't really need to see the tattoo. My suggestion to you - it's your body and you will be the only person who has to live with the decision of what tattoo you choose - so choose wisely. If this is the tattoo you really want - go for it.

Here's what you need to consider...

Its going ot be on you FOREVER..do you really think that you want broken scales on your back or arm or whatever for the rest of your life. If it has some other significant meaning besides Metallica..then go for it..but just sitting here thinking about it..I don't think its a good idea...I don't think it will piss people off..I just think that you will regret it.

Link didn't work. What is it? Most tattoo artists I know will refuse to do it if they find it offensive. I have 16 tattoos. So far.......

If it's a tatt that you're sure you want then don't hesitate. If you're not sure - which you obviously aren't - then I suggest that you wait until you are sure of what you want before you make it permanent. It's your body so you should stop worrying about what everyone else is going to think about what you choose to do with it.

"Page Cannot be Found" could be very offensive. You could compliment it with a blue screen of death of "Error 404" error on the other arm. Gotta love computer geek tattoos.

I think its really cool. but you have to decide if that's what you want on your body for the rest of your life.(it's your body ,your choice).if you aren't sure you may want to think about it a little longer. It is already a tattoo and as for offending anyone, think about what types of jobs you might have through out your life and decide where you might need to place it.
