There MUST be life elsewhere, the law of averages insists on it......... look at all the stars etc out there beyond our solar system, there must be life somewhere there.
It would be very arrogant of us to believe we are the only ones!
Lets hope they are doing a better job of preserving their planet that we are!

There very well may be life in this almost infinite universe. I do not think anyone knows for sure on this planet, because I think that the next planet that could contain it would be a lot of light years away. It would have to be near another sun with just the right conditions on a planet that is spaced out from the sun just right. (In other words, very unlikely conditions. But with the universe being so big, it can happen twice or more)

All life on Earth is based on the building block element carbon with water as the solvent in which bio-chemical reactions take place. Given their relative abundance and usefulness in sustaining life it has long been assumed that life forms elsewhere in the universe will also utilize these basic components. However, other elements and solvents might be capable of providing a basis for life.

There are almost infinite number of worlds where there could be life, but on the other hand we don't know what kind of extraordinary event created life here on earth. Since we don't know how probable it is that life will start, we can't say how probable it is that life exists else ware.
If there is life on some other planet, they would have to obey the same laws of physics as we do, so if their planet looks like ours, they will probably look a lot like life on earth.

From the "probability" point of view there could be a lot of "life" in this univers but most likely very different from what we understand as "life form"... Most of us understand life as "something moving by itself" in front of our eyes but they are ignoring the fact that perhaps each planet and each star of this univers even the univers itself is very much a sort of life form...And what our scientist can say this days is that it has a "birth date" and it will "die" (like any other life form that we can undestand...).

I think that in about 2 million years man will discover time travel. He will travel back to our times and he will be seen by some of us as in Roswell. I think in 2 million years man will look very different but will still have one head arms and legs and a torso but again as in Roswell he will have a larger head and huge eyes. I also think if there is life on other planets it will look very different to us and not with one head 2 arms and legs. so my theory is that these sighting of "space men" are in fact us coming back in time after discovering time travel.

The Universe is too big only for the mankind. We cannot be alone in this whole Space, otherwise WE will be mad.
And I'm sure that they will be stranger than we can think.

I think that some form of "life" exists on man of our neighbors. Perhaps not as we know life forms, some being light-years ahead of us, sone behind. We's be very selfish to believe that we are the end product of "life" .

If you could remember what you did out of body in your dreams you would see the existence of others is true.Maybe you have this one in your memory---a big box starship with a captain standing in front of it.
