telling me that he did not love me anymore. It hurt. We worked through it.

When I told my husband that I was pregnant, he looked at me with sad eyes and said "You're too pretty to be pregnant". Imagine my suprise. That can be taken as both an insult and a compliment.
The worst part is that our son is 16 now, and my husband has never since told me that I am pretty. Bummer.
We have exchanged many other nasty comments over the last 18 years, but that one has always stuck in my mind.

the meanest thing my spouse has said to me is i remind him of his ex sometimes. he did say sorry a couple of hours later and i accepted it. but we did have along talk about it later that night. i told him it was un called for and how would he like it if i said that he sounded like my ex. he didn't like it and said if i would of said anything like that to him he would consiter leaving me. why? i don't know it's ok for him to say that too me and i shouldn't get upset or leave him but it's a different story the other way around.

he called me stupid, it was during a fight about something else and he blurted it out.
yeah, he apologized pretty darn quick, and I knew he didn't mean it. Or at least he couldn't possibly mean that... my husband is FABULOUS at apologizing and making up after fights. I have to give him credit for that! I would never leave him, cause that's the WORST he's ever done to me... I've got it pretty good!

he called me a **** and accused me of sleeping with people at my work he said i had the whole office run a trian on me....yes i have broken up with him but also have let him back and made him realize he cant talk to me that way....or i will make him leave again i think he has learned his lesson after breaking up 4 times he has not made me feel like dirt anymore he knows he has a good woman

She stole my deceased mother's jewelry and told me for 6 months she threw it out of her car window. She never apologized but she did return it. We are now divorced.

he called me "Mom" which his Mother is not a wonderful person to be compared to.
