well u can't really compare mariah 2 janet cuz they r from 2 differnt eras. the early 80's and early 90's wuz janets time and mariah came onto the seen i the late 90's to present day's. during these 2 times the music wuz way different there wuz more singing and dancing back then, today its mostly about performance. but if u r talkin about vocally it would be mariah cuz she uses more runs than janet

I am half and half and I will explain.
I LOVE "Classic" Mariah. The Vision of love I don't need to show off all my "assets" in order to sell a song Mariah.
As for Janet, Same story. Classic Janet.
Nowadays, I guess I'll go with Janet if i HAD To.
