It's ok if you're sole purpose is to stare at Johnny and Orlando or to have your brain dazzled by special effects. An intelligent person that wants plot, decent characterization and such won't enjoy this movie as much as the first one.
It seemed like the directors confused themselves with the many plots and characters that were all being shoved into the movie so they just gave up and let the kraken eat everything instead of actually trying to give us a decent plot or believable character interaction. Let's pray Geoffry Rush can save part three.

Fantastic. I would see it again but I will wait for the DVD to add to my collection. I enjoyed the new characters and it answered some questions about Davey Jones' locker.

I was very disappointed! It was too long, not enough humor, and the storyline was, at best, hard to follow!
And this was supposed to be a kids' movie?
