I've seen things on the news about it.

Have you ever seen a fundraiser have an anonamous donation? Most people help out to be doing good, not get publicity from it.

It's easy to criticize the media as a group. If you feel like trying to make a difference instead of just complaining about things, call your local news station or newspaper and ask them to run a story about Katrina charity.
