Is that even possible? Please let me know how I can do this to either a Roger's or a Telus cellphone, and what website to use. Do I use my email ( which is gmail)?

Cellphone message sender...or go to the cell phone website and send it from there. Try TeleFlip too.

You need to know the carrier company for the cell phone. Then go to that website and there is usually an option/icon for text messaging.
I'm not sure about Canada but in the US if you go to www.whitepages.com and do a reverse search by number-enter the cell phone number and it will usually give you the carrier co.

you should use Yahoo Messenger for sending sms messages to the cell phones from the computer. click on the cellular Icon (4th to the right) on your yahoo messenger once you logged in. click on different contact and variety contained in the phone quantity with usa code, to that you want to deliver message. click on ok after that. A window will look to enter your message. you are able to also see even if you're prepared to deliver messages to the particular telephone or no longer.

you can use the Yahoo! Messenger to send a text msgs or SMS to a cellphone users...

■go to ACTIONS menu of Yahoo! Messenger
■click SEND AN SMS MESSAGE
■on the dialog box, click OTHER CONTACTS
■please include the plus(+) sign followed by the mobile number of the recipient
■send some to me... +639217368343
try it and see...

Go to the persons service provider. Like Sprint or Nextel they offer you the ability to send from there.
