The only reason to vote Democrat is if you believe they will do a better job than the Republicans.

Benjamin Franklin once said: "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for dinner. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote."

Sadly, the "Republicrats" have a stranglehold on our political system. They've corrupted it to a point that neither party is a good choice. In fact, politicians don't WANT us to vote; that might decrease their chances of being re-elected.

Bush must be impeached, or tried for high treason and crimes against humanity. He has murdered tens of thousands of Iraqi citizens for no justifiable reason, and has killed more than 2,500 U.S. soldiers (so far). But voting for Democrats just so they can impeach Bush isn't reason enough.

Thomas Jefferson once said; "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." That time is NOW.

Our Constitution allows us to bear arms against a tyrannical and oppressive government. Until we do, our scumbag politicians will continue to enrich themselves, sucking off the taxpayers' teat.

So, they distract us with trivial matters such as non-binding resolutions on flag-burning and gay marriage. We pre-occupy ourselves with our maxxed-out credit cards; $3.00-a-gallon fuel for our $60,000 SUVs; Britney Spears' love life; professional landscaping for our $300,000 houses; "low prices - everyday" at WalMart on junk we don't need; Jacko's pedophilia; and the latest rankings of our favorite NASCAR drivers.

As long as we don't get off the couch, put down the remote, and DEMAND our country back, the stench of dirty politics will fill the air, regardless of which party is in power.

We're like lobsters comfortably languishing in a pot of lukewarm water. Only when the water finally reaches a boiling point will we begin to scream in agony over our own apathy. Meanwhile, politicians will continue taking bribes (excuse me, campaign contributions) from lobbyists, special interest gorups, wealthy elitists, and big business - and continue to do their bidding with little regard for the needs or desires of 'We the People...'

Our republic is managed by elected representatives, which has turned into a cesspool of corruption and criminal intent.

It's time for America to return to being a true democracy where the government is managed directly by the people. With today's technologies, popular votes and referendums make such a true democracy possible. But the political prostitutes won't go away quietly; the only way to eliminate such pandering is to physically eliminate both sleazy political parties. If you vote to throw out the rotten Republicans, all you do is replace them with rotten Democrats - and the stench continues to permeate our society until it eventually destroys us all.

While Nero fiddled, Rome burned. While repulsive Republicans and dishonorable Democrats cheat, steal and lie, America edges closer and closer to becoming a third-world nation with a two-tiered class structure, just like you see in the Dominican Republic and Haiti: a handful of the very, very rich - and (the rest of us), the very, very poor.

If you think it won't happen, take a look at history. See what happen to the Greek empire and the Roman empire, for starters. -RKO-

They will not impeach Bush so you'll have to find another reason. Vote for the candidate, not the party.

I'm all for impeaching Bush but he will not be impeached... the reason to vote for democrats is that they can overrule his vetoes and vote no on his retarded bills.

Bush isn't going to be impeached....yup nothing like a bunch of bleeding heart liberals to waste tax payer money to get back at what happened to Clinton......personally I think our tax money could go to a better use seeing how by the time you finished kicking him out of office his term would be up.

what are you talking about? Doesn't he have to have done something illegal to impeach him?

It is getting quite tiresome hearing you whiny liberals wanting to impeach Bush because your guy lost the election. Get over it.

No, its to end Bush pushing his agenda through congress at lightning speed. He will only be able to introduce legislation that has real meaning for the whole of America if congress is not of his own party.
