Everyone has a different sense of humour. As long as you smile once in a while, I'm sure you'll be fine. Canadians are known for their senses of humour. So, just be yourself.
If you are really not funny in any way, please do not resort to puns.

Torylocker,
How about a more "zen" type of approach. Try using your imagination, to create an image of yourself being a truly funny person. The more you think about it, the more you will begin to see the comedy in everyday life. You only have to develop a sense of irony, and learn your own sense of timing, and you're there.

simple - be more laid back. I'm serious. I use to be the harshest type A and to get me to crack a smile was impossible. Then I started watching movies, going to shows, and I began to understand people better. Worked like a charm :)

well, given your spelling of the word- "humour", i would guess that you are british, in which case, you already have an innate sense of comedy.

Try to see the good and the funny in what goes on around you and not always focus on the bad. There is good in most everyone and in most situations if you laugh at yourself they can only laugh with you. :-)

Is that the same as humor? If so, you can always buy one. I heard they're on sale at KMart, right next to the socks.

If it's not happening then most likely it's not. All I can say is lighten up. Most people are naturally that way.
