I mean, politically correct people complain about damn everything. You can't even say white milk, black forest cake or brown sugar.

I totally hear you...

I'm a waitress, and I was serving a family of five one night. The children were very polite when they ordered their milk. I repeated the order back to them (to ensure accuracy) and made the mistake of specifying "white" milk. The mother of this entirely and obviously caucasian family sat up rigidly and said, "We don't say *white* milk, we say *plain* milk, thank you."

THE MILK IS #$#@$% WHITE!!! GET A GRIP!!!

What's next, dark licorice? Dark-strap molasses? The strategically non-dyed phone pages? Non-yolk egg fluid?

This is ridiculous. I live in Canada, and although I'm not saying that everybody is the same, for the most part we could care less about whether or not we use the words "white" or "black" to describe anything. I mean, we call whole milk (3.25%) HOMO milk, for Pete's sake; yet, we allow gay marriage, so clearly we have nothing against the gay community (again, I'm generalizing).

AARRRGGGHHH!!!

And to actually answer your question...

Please continue to call it as you see it...the pages are white, thus, they are white pages.

The pages are white...therefore "White Pages"

Milk is white or chocalate...therefore White Milk or Chocolate milk

brown sugar is brown, black forest cake is... oh you get the picture...if you've got friends sensitive to that then be sensitive towards them, but if it is what it is, then call it that.

No harm in calling a spade a spade, it just is what it is.
