the mayan calendar (which is far more accurate and useful than the gregorian calendar) ends on dec 22, 2012- at 11:11 (not sure which time zone the mayans were referencing) also, the Mckenna brothers discovered that applying a Mandelbrot fractal equation to the I'Ching yeilds a time wave that ends on the exact same date at the same time. Some people think that the world will end, others (namely, Mckenna) believe that it will bring about a major leap in human evolution- what do you think, if anything, will happen?

The person who created the mayan calendar may have died before finishing it and who can really prove without a dought that a time line can end. This is all speculation.
remember y2k it was just a joke. There may be anevolutional leap maybe big mabe not, we'll just have to wait and see. besides the way things are going this planet needs a big change.

First off, It's December **21**, 2012, at **DAWN**. I don't know who's been throwing around this 11:11 stuff mixed with the Mayans. The whole 11:11 portal is a separate issue I'm not going to get into.
I have a friend who's done a lot of research on the I-Ching and the Tzolkin (the Mayan's sacred 260 day calendar)--I helped him with some of the Tzolkin stuff many years ago. You might want to take a look at his site.
Basically we are looking at the start of a new world age at the beginning of the 13th Baktun of the Mayan Long Count Calendar (which is a DIFFERENT calendar than the Tzolkin). Right now we're in the in-between time, between the dead old world and the new world we are creating. No one can say yet what will happen, what energies are being set up. Right now this transitional world is such a mess I'm worried about the future; hopefully everything will sort itself out in the next couple of years.
Humans right now are NOT evolving. We fight to keep everyone alive, not just "the fittest". We call it compassion. But it's anti-evolution. Those with bad genes, carriers of illness and disease, are being allowed to reproduce and spread those genes rather than being winnowed out like Mother Nature intended. So I can't believe there will be any leap in evolution.

no longer something especially will take place. the full factor is an invention via a gaggle of frauds and crackpots attempting to get you to purchase valueless books and video clips. None of it has any foundation in genuine technology. the individuals merchandising this have not have been given any understanding of technology. they simply choose to pretend to be knowledgeable with the intention to influence the gullible. don't be between the gullible. there is not any 'historical prediction' via the Mayans or all people else. those have been all invented in the final 20 years. there is not any 'secret planet' approximately to bypass via. Why do no longer the fraudsters let us know its cutting-edge region in the sky, so we are able to all seem at it? you come back to a determination. there'll be no uncommon alignment, the two planetary or galactic. while became into the final alignment that led to us any problems besides? there'll be no pole shift. A magnetic pole shift isn't coming near and probable tens of 1000's of years away. A unexpected rotational pole shift is a actual impossibility. the subsequent image voltaic optimal is predicted in mid 2013, no longer 2012 and is predicted to be much less severe than the final optimal in 2001. different predictions such via fact the photon belt and Terence McKenna's Timewave 0 are basically too stupid to hardship with.

Accordingly on that day the axis of the earth is supposed to alter itself by 2 to 4 degrees. Expected results will alter the equitorial zone, shift all of the continents, loss of coastal lands and possibly the Pacific Rim and the Yellowstone Park Areas will be teaming with volcanic activity that will further alter weather worldwide. These are the possible scenarios to Global Warming that a lot of people believe is a myth.

I could be flippant and say that's when Mulder and Scully will defeat the aliens. However, seriously maybe it could be the good part of the age of aquarius? You know there is supposed to be peace, harmony, and understanding in it. It started in 2000, but a friend of my said it would take about 10 years for it to happen. Maybe 12/22/2012 is when it will.

Dec 23rd!! the Mayan calender was done many years ago usually a projection of 100 years is all that is done. In astrology that is usually the time frame in the books. For all we know that was a 500 yr calender for them why would they project any further??What will be will be no reason to speculate.

Christmas will happen! Seriously, I don't think the world's going to end then. There have been so many predictions of the end of the world and thus far, all have been false alarms.
