5'5" and 125 lbs is fine. I like my women a little curvy. There is nothing wrong with you.

HOW TALL ARE YOU? What SEX?
Males and females weigh differently.
If you were very short you could be a bit over weight.
Eat a balanced diet everyday and if you do not exercise then at least walk half an hour one way and back 1/2 hour. NOT slowly either but no need to JOG in the heat we are having!
Everyone is different. Our genes are controlled by MOM AND DAD, not LEVI'S or OLD NAVY! j/k.
Anyway just be yourself...
You are probably fine for your height age and sex...
Be healthy and eat right see a doctor if you are worried.

DO NOT LISTEN TO TORI J., if you are 5-5 and 125 that is NOT over weight! Ideal weight for you is 122lbs
see the last link!

Well, your weight depends far more on your height than on your age and you haven't told us how tall you are. The best advice i can give a 13 year old is to eat healthy rather than diet and stay active. You're probably not overweight, but exercising regularly is good for you regardless of whether you need to lose weight.

At only 13 years of age, the last thing you need to be worried about is your weight. Any kind of intense dieting at your age could lead to serious problems when you are older. Just make sure you have fun by staying active and avoid eating alot of fast food. You aren't overweight now and you wont be as long as you do everything in moderation.

a good way to determine that stuff is to go on a search engine and search "BMI Calculator" and you punch in your height and weight and it shows where you are.

Or, something my mom says, is once you hit five feet, add 5 pounds for each additional inch, and thats the ideal weight there. I'm not sure how accurate that is, but you know, its a mommism so it can't be TOTAL bullsh*t.

believe me that's over weight but you have time to loose it don't stress just start to eat healthier that's all it is to it stay eating healthy to keep your body healthy no matter what shape you are but remember don't loose to much weight because that's also not healthy if your 5'5 or around that height you should weigh at least 90-105 pounds Good Luck! and stay healthy and fit always.

It depends on your height and bone structure. Go to a BMI index to find out.

To lose weight drink a lot of ice water, which will increase your metabolism and it'll curb your appetite.

Lindsey,
It's hard to say - for a 4'9" tall person, yes that would be heavy, but for a 5'9" tall person, no it wouldn't be. You should ask your doctor next time you go in for a visit.

Also, don't try losing weight by yourself, if you chose to do so. Ask your parents or someone else you are close to (that's an adult) to help you. :)
