Bush and Cheney.....oil profiteering pirates??? It is obvious that our 'oilman whitehouse' is in league with oil rich nations to raise prices to a level they will never come back from just to pull in record breaking profits. And windfall profits is that their oil buddies are pulling in. Could this be a planned conspiracy to rape the American consumer a little more at the pump?

NEVER ALLOW OILMEN to occupy the white house ever again.

Its not just about oil, America spends more money on its military than every other program it funds combined. Its a huge business that always needs another war and another enemy to keep the money flowing in. Iraq was the best of both worlds. We armed Saddam during the 70s (there are even pictures of Rumsfeld shaking hands with him, all smiles) to fight Iran and then turn on him at the first opportunity using the weapons we gave him as our motivation.

If it was about Iraqis being free why did we build a 20 million dollar embassy and 19 military bases before we even restored electricity and running water. Go ahead sheeple, I expect about 10 responses after me calling me a wacky lefty America hater that should get out.

Cheney yes, Bush no.

Until recently, Bush has had very little to do with the policy that has come out of the White House. But since his numbers have taken a dive, he is in control.

I honestly don't think that he understands most of what goes on in the real world and has historically relied on his people to tell him how things should be - which in itself is not that uncommon for a president to do. Unfortunately, he did not hire a competent staff to start with. They are all ex-lobbyist or ex corporate guys who know very little about public policy and administration.

once back, you're taking a narrative and spin it your way, even as any widespread reader can ascertain the reality. "Fraud and corruption were no longer basic yet "waste is an argument," he stated, noting that $6 billion, the biggest share of the fund, were swallowed by technique of the price of protecting web pages from insurgents." And in case you deal some thing in any respect with contractors, exceptionally in rebuilding initiatives, you understand that waste is continually an argument. it's going to be an argument with Iraqi businesses, because it truly is with American businesses besides. also the tale is about some persons interior of Iraq that are dissatisfied that better of the reconstruction business enterprise has no longer been given to Iraqi businesses. So it truly is envisioned for them to throw round accusations that the american businesses are not from now on doing some thing top. Now to imagine from OUR perspective... If we are fronting the bill for a majority of the reconstruction, why may we no longer pick that monetary flow to bypass into the GDP of u.s.? If we spend the $$$ spend it with our personal businesses. If we may throw it to the Iraqi businesses better, then you definately may have the uber-libs consisting of wacko KooKoo right here complaining that we are only giving money away quit fist outdoors of our usa.

The notion is absurd. No holder of political office is permitted to profit from that office -- it's a crime. Officeholders have their assets in blind trusts so that they cannot know whether any official action will profit them or not.
High oil prices arise from a number of reasons: Cheaply recoverable oil is getting harder and harder to find. The war in Iraq has reduced production there. Lack of investment in Russian oil assets has caused production there to decline. The hurricanes caused significant damage to oil production in the Gulf of Mexico. Mismanagement of Venezuelan and Mexican oil assets has hurt production in those countries. And political restrictions (i.e., limiting drilling off much of the US coast, and in the ANWR) haven't helped either.

You leave out your beloved UN who ripped off billions in the Oil for Food program. Your allies got big checks and our boys are dying because that money is being used to finance the Islamic Fascist movement. Don't let truth interfere with liberal talking points.

Are you accusing Dick Cheney of being a rapacious, conceited, self-serving, two-bit creep in a three-piece suit, money-grubbing rat-bastard, willing to sell America down the river to line his own pockets?

You are? Just making sure.
