I think around 120 songs....depending on the length of the songs.

It depends on the size of the player. A 256mb can hold around 125 songs, a 512mb can hold about 250, a 1gb can hold about 500, 2gb 1000, 3gb 1500....so on, about 500 songs per gig. It usually winds up being less though, because those numbers assume merely 2mb per song.

All the answers could be correct, but none as correct as what bitrate the songs are recorded at. 64, you can hold a lot. 320 about 5 times less regardless of what player.

Creative makes more than one. It depends on the memory space on the one you have. Roughly 150-175 per gig of memory.
