What is the purpose of them. and why always a mint????

I don't mean for cleaning, but the ones that just stand there when you are doing the business

Hey...they are cool, especially in a club. If you going out with the intention of dancing till sunrise do you really wanna kart round a whole suit case of stuff? No, you wanna be able to go to the loo, get a band to tie your hair up, bit of lippy, bit of deoderant (yes the stuff you put under your arms you stinky mingers that dont) maybe a bit of perfume if you like any thats there & bung them a couple of quid....& BE NICE TO THEM.
Not everyone has the brain capacity to have top jobs so leave them alone, i think they rock & do a bloody good job !

I have seen that a couple of times. One was in the restroom at this nice dance club and She was constantly doing stuff and smiling and standing there by the perfume and all. There were even free cigarettes in the basket. Just tooooo cool. But I wouldn't want that nasty job.

Someone has to check that nothing illicit happens and clear up spillages! It makes the whole experience more pleasant that hovering over a pee and poo filled loo with someone fixing heroin to the left and a couple shagging to the right of you..
The Mint:
its there to freshen your breath (booze and fags are gross) just in case you score after leaving!! (or even if while taking that visit )

I'm reasonably easy going about them, but I don't like to give them money for just saying "Hello."
I was in Thailand recently and was surprised and extremely creeped out when I went to one place and they gave me a shoulder massage whilst I was taking a pee! Now that's just wrong...

I don't know they creep me out a little. Not as bad as clowns or drag queens but still creepy.

Dunno. To make you feel like you are somewhere upmarket and being waited on while you perform your natural functions? or maybe to stop you doing substances or having sex?
