Is Andrew Adamson planning on directing those? I would love to see all 7 brought to the big screen.

Walden Media intends to do them all. They have already secured the rights to all of the books from Douglas Gresham (C.S. Lewis's stepson). The next movie is in production and will be Prince Caspian using the same four actors as the Pevensie siblings. It is due out in Summer of 2008.

i understand, it is way stupid. Disney has considered a significant downward fashion contained in the fulfillment of the Narnia videos. in spite of the indisputable fact that Prince Caspian made them a wide earnings, it made virtually $four hundred million lower than Lion, Witch, and the cloth cabinet. it truly is a wide drop. maximum individuals imagine it became because Prince Caspian opened as a summer action picture quite than a visit action picture. It became competing adverse to Indiana Jones, Batman, and so on. some also imagine that Disney did not marketplace Prince Caspian besides because the first action picture. Disney is fearful that Voyage of the first light Treader may make even a lot less money and so on and so on. I nevertheless love Disney and that i nevertheless LOVE Narnia, yet it truly is extremely frightening. To me, Disney and Narnia were both wide parts of my formative years and together they're organic magic. I actual have distinctive faith in Walden Media, and that i'm hoping whoever takes over for Disney doesn't decrease the magic that Walden and Disney had happening. i quite desire the films make it to The very last conflict.

No, I'm pretty sure they are skipping Magician's Nephew and The Horse and His boy.

Next movie they are doing is Prince Caspian. So you can bet we'll at least get Dawn Treader. Don't count on Silver Chair or The Last Battle, I don't see them happening. Although I would like to see Puddlegum the Marsh Wiggle on screen, he's my all time favorite character :-D

I hope so. If they were doing the original order of the books the movie Prince Caspian would be next. My favorite after the Wardrobe is either Magicians Nepher or Silver Chair.

I hope so, but I don't think so. Do you know how much The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe cost to make. They were in the high billions for this- because of that major battle scene and The Stone Table. But all of it was very expensive.

Yes, but it is spread out over the years and is not being done in order.

"The Magician's Nephew" will be next.
