While I don't like the new page as much as the old one (looses that Yahoo feel, looks like netscape, etc), I wish they would just go with it. Everytime the page loads, it's different ... And then this thing drops down and up making navigation a pain.

I think they've lost focus on who and what they are and have tried to compensate by being all things to all people. Unfortunately, this has left most of their core competencies bloated and problematic.
With any luck they'll realize that they're going in the wrong direction and simplify soon. At least, I hope so.

You can switch to the old search page. Go to the bottom of the new page and you see, an option to click back to old page.
