Find a consignment store.

There is a difference between donating and selling. If you donate your clothes, it means you are giving them away. If you are selling them, it means you are getting money for them. It is an oxy moron to say that you want to "donate clothes for money". It would be a lot easier to say "Where can I sell my clothes?"

There are consignment stores all over that will purchase gently used clothes, you just have to find one in your area. If you can't find a consignment store, you can donate the clothes to Goodwill or the Salvation Army and get a tax right-off for the donation since it's considered a charity. If none of that works, have a yard sale/garage sale or sell them on Ebay.

DOnating means you are giving them not wanting money. Do some good and donate them to a shelter. There are so many homeless people that could use some new clothes. You won't get more than a few dollarse for used clothes anyhow.

Donation is the opposite of money. You're looking to consign your clothes somewhere or sell them to a shop.

That is not donating them, that is selling them. If you really need the money, then sell them on Ebay with everyone else. Otherwise, donate them to people who really need some clothes.

Well, "donate" implies not getting money...try a resale shop if you're looking to sell them, but you probably won't get a whole lot.

You want to sell clothes, not donate.

Well donate means give away. so typically you wont get money. You can dump them at a goodwill and get a tax write off for them.
