how do they show the knife in them or they bullet hole in them

basically, in movies they use special effacts. There are many new high tech equipment. They can edit things on computer and add in stuff. For the blood and stuff, its all fake. a possibility is that they have blood packets. There are also things such as fake guns and fake knives the retract in.

There are patches that you wear in your clothes and it's timed when the gun goes off, then the patch explodes and it looks like blood is flying out of the wound. For knives they use retractable blades. They used to use blood packs a lot, but more and more it's being inserted as a special effect.
