Yes, my daughter was not allowed to buy a cell phone, and she bought one anyway. To punish her I've taken it away for a week, and on saturday, she can have it back and only if she can show maturity in it's use, she can keep it. But, where to hide it? I thought of my room, but she'd look there for sure, the same as the rest of the house. So, I hid it in her room, and told her to clean her room. When it's time for her to get the phone back on saturday, I'll tell her which room it's been in all along, and finally, her room will get cleaned on Saturday.
