OK, step back take a deep breath and breathe. You are only 16 and just beginning your life. You just discovered you're gay. That does not mean you have to have all the answers about who you are as a gay person. You're life in general is going to change a lot of the next 10 years especially as you end High School and go off to college or the military or whatever you chose to do. Don't rush it. You don't have to have the answers right now.
As for what kind of girls you like or don't like. Just look around. Find gurls you are physically attracted to. Then make a list of what attribute they have you like. That is a good place to start. Then ask yourself what personalities you like. Who makes you laugh and happy. Take you're time, this is not a race.
You might also try going to a bookstore and finding books on the subject and read them. Other places are here on the internet. Chat rooms are out there for young gay people. however, realize you are 16 and what most would call "jail bait". So don't go looking to find many 21 and over girld to fall for you. It spells out trouble for them. I suggest before you go find a girlfriend find yourself. At least wait till you are out of HS and 18. You'll have much better luck. Take care and good luck

Try and realize that you're at an age where it is easy to get confused about who you like or why you might like them. I don't think being gay is something you just suddenly find out one day...
and from what you saying it sounds as if you think you might be, but aren't really sure.
At your age, your body is still going through all kinds of changes; physical, chemical, and emotional.
Be patient with yourself, and really take some serious think time to figure out whether you actually are or not, or if you only just feel that way right now, because you feel that you might have a crush on another girl. Don't immediately start rushing around trying to find another female because you think you are gay. Consider the fact that you could get involved with another female, only to discover that you are not actually gay.
Think how that might affect her emotionally.
In the end, you need to consider all things.
You may find out that you are NOT gay at all or that you ARE gay..or maybe even bisexual.
But you won't know for sure unless you take time with yourself to find out.

Well you are younag at this age you need to just explore. Sometimes you fall in love with a person by who they are not what they look like. Try just being yourself and whoever comes on to you just give it a chance. You are young so make sure this is who you want to be and if it is more power to you! Im a lesbian but at ur age I didnt explore my wants and thought but you have that oppertunity. Maybe find someone a little older in your area and see what they say maybe they can guide you too! Dude, there is no reason why at age 16 you need to pidgenhole yourself. None at all. Stop worrying about types, since most gay women are neither strict femmes or strict butches, and just date people you are attracted to. Maybe a pattern will emerge later, but trust me, it is best to keep your options open when you are young.

It is ok it just takes time and experience to find out what attracts you.
If you want a woman go for a woman. Find one soft and sensual and make passionate love to her. Nuzzle her neck and work your way down discovering what pleasures await you. If femms don't do it for you find one that likes to be dominate and do what she tells you. LOL
