Not only are police officers still using guns, but now they are putting 50,000 volts of electricity through people with tasers. Tasers are being used on citizens when guns would have never been used on people. Drunk people are getting tazed, senior citizens, and even children. Mostly for minor reasons. Tasers shoudl be banned. Here is a videoclip of a woman being tasered during a traffic stop.

"Tasers should be banned" you say and so police officers are suppose to get injured and risk their lives because of some drunk and overdosed drug addicts can avoid getting tasered? Let me guess...you expect the government to do everything for you too? Hypocrit.

I don't open links. But 50,000 volts makes someone more controllable. It's amperage that will kill you. If tasers were lethal they would not be used. Its much better than a bullet, you bleed less too. If the use of tasers gets out of hand, I can assure you that this will no longer be an issue. Police brutality is frowned upon even from within the department.

If you don't want to be tazed, do exactly what the officer says. Besides, would you rather be tazed or go back to the old days when they just shot people or beat the hell out of them with a billy club?
It's been awhile, but when I was younger I had about 20 run-ins with the police, from speeding to bar fights to destruction of private property. At no time did a police officer use excessive force on me. Why? I never gave them a reason to, and I gave the police the respect they wanted. I didn't scream at them, I didn't spit on them, or any of those other stupid things that people do to cops. If you don't want the horns, don't play with the bull. When the cops show up, the fun is over. Shut up, listen, and hold still.

It is extremely rare for there to be lasting issues from getting tasered.

PLease...WHAT A DRAMA QUEEN she was.
1. She was speeding(excessively too)
2. Broken taillight
3. Broken windshield
4. No seatbelt
5. AND she was on the Phone
She was begging for a ticket....but THEN she had to
1. Drive on a suspended license
2. Resist arrest
3. Attempted assault on Police officer.
I would have Tased her too. She was rude and beligerant and uncooperative.

Ive seen it on the tv show cops, but I do not agree with it unless it really is in self defense in lieu of using a bullet. Id rather be tazed than shot. Still, it hurts, it really hurts.
