You are wrong and I will tell you why.
If we had gone into Iraq for oil we would have taken over and set up our own government and used the oil. However, we went in there removed Saddam and are setting up Iraqis with a government.
And in case you haven't noticed gas prices aren't getting any cheaper so...what are we doing with all the oil "we went to Iraq for?"
Don't forget "Freedom is on the march" and Iraq is where it all started.

Good. I hope that is why we are there. Of course, if you were in charge, you would give the oil to China, or India and allow the US to become a third world country. But lets face it, If America did become a third world country, you would be the first to cry because you could not play your xbox. You probably complain now about the gas prices? You are a hypocrite.

You are naive. It would be far easier to conquer Mexico or Canada for oil, and they have just as much as Iraq. And we wouldn't have to travel half-way around the world.

Their purposes in the MIddle East always involve the oil, no doubt about it. History tells us this quite plainly. It is quite naive of people to think otherwise.

There IS plenty of OIL here in the USA!
I know it for a fact, my ex boyfriend works for a drilling company and he lives comfortably at his work.
The problem is environmentalists do not want the USA to drill here and Iraq people do not care about their environment they want money.
It is not about OIL, it is about THEM bombing the USA and UK and anyone else they want to. IT is about protecting our LAND from invasion of a very hostile people!
I don't want THEM living here and making US live like them!
THEY want OUR OIL! They want world control and to dominate us and other countries! We have plenty! We don't need their oil!
