Realize that they are ignorant and that only you can control your emotions.

Honestly; meditation. Not the hokey, new-age junk. I'm speaking of the actual practice and practical psychology of established methods. Not only will it have several physical benefits, but as you progress through life you will become more centered, more focused, more in control of yourself, more able to make rational decisions rather than being ruled by emotions in the moment. Being able to clear, focus, and control your mind is an important thing; and someone who can't control their own anger, or other emotions, is simply exhibiting a bit of weakness.

And keep in mind; for every person you think is ignorant, there is someone who could very rightly see you as ignorant; it's a matter of perception and topic. You may know an incredible amount about topic A, which would make you look wise, but on topic B, you may know very little. So being ignorant is very perceptual and situational. We are all ignorant at times.

Ignorant people??This is just a matter of opinion. Not all people think alike and not all will do or know what you expect.Life is not Burger King so you don't always get it your way.Just don't worry about the others.Take care of yourself and if someone seems ingnorant to you then avoid them.People have the term ignorant and foolishness mixed up.If a person is doing something foolish then yes someday they will learn,if not then it will be a maricle.Ignorant is a term for someone that does not know something that you think they should and from that again it is their problem, not yours.

Ignore them and walk away if you can- Of course you should try to get your ideas and point across but there are certain times that we come accross people that are so close minded that just wont understand or will allow themselves to see the possibility of a different point of view, if that's your situation then just say what u have to say and be the bigger person to just leave things the way they are and walk away from the situation- I'm pretty sure you have bigger issues in your life then to deal with ignorance!

Meditation helps to know and check when ur mind is getting angry .

It really does NOT make sense for us to get angry at the STUPIDITY of others.

Instead of flipping the middle finger at a guy that cuts in front or honks the horn try flippling two fingers for PEACE. That's fun!!!

T'ain't easy, but what's wrong with being angry at ignorant people? If you're referring to people who are deliberately stupidly ignorant, then I say go ahead and get angry with them. That kind of ignorance should be painful. But if you're referring to people who simply just are unaware about something without being stupid about it, then its just a case of harmless knowledge deficit. In those cases, keep your perspective and everything will develop positively.

Just turn around and walk away. It never pays to argue with ignorant people, even when you "win" they're too ignorant to know it.
You could laugh at them. It may make you feel better. I think ignorant peple were put here for the amusement of the rest of us.

By coming here and having fun with 'em. Have you ever seen such a collection of morons in your life? just look at this place! It's a paradise for people (like you and I) to tell these uneducated and simple minded folks how we really feel about there mindless prattle and asinine questions that even my two Golden retrievers can figure a simple solution to.

Walk away. Or if they are being ignorant to you, I would ask them what their problem was. Like "why are you being so rude"? Maybe they don't like you, or maybe they just like being ignorant. Either way, shut them down now! Otherwise, if its a customer being rude and your the clerk, I think you still have to just be polite cuz thats your job. Its a tough world out there.....and lots of ignorant and rude people. I personally, don't understand them myself!

Just write them off, and ignore them. The ones here, are often just trolls who get their kicks by being that way. If you give them attention, they love it, and you are just giving them what they want. Just ignore or report the really bad ones if they cross the line.

Deep breathing and avoiding them. Seriously you must learn to just try to avoid the people like that or to lift their ignorance by teaching them. Hard to do when one is set in their ways I know.
