I've lost touch with most of my friends from high school...just seems like we're different people now, who don't have much in common. Is this normal?

It is absolutely normal. I have two friends that I have known from my younger years, I love them to death, but as you grow older friendships like all relationships are work. People move away, get married, have kids, etc. People change. One of the things about growing older is making new friends, doesn't mean that you don't like the old ones, it just means you grew apart.

People change alot after high school and it's hard to keep in touch with people. In some cases you can't stand to be around people that were your best friend in high school. But you always meet new people who are usually alot better friends because they are the kind of people that you've found in your more mature "adult" state of mind...i know I hung out with some real crazies back in high school that I wouldn't want to have anything to do with now. I'm still trying to get rid of some of them actually

yes! I have the say problem, and you know what is worse..when you then run into the person that used to be your close friend and you both are just too different and took two different roads in life and you just want to continue shopping and she is standing there wanting to talk and you don't want to be rude but you have no intentions on giving her your number....I hate running into people from high school.

Yes, it's perfectly normal. In highschool you all have the same agendas. Get through it! You're all doing mostly the same things...schoolwork, sports and clubs. Your lives have so much in common then like you said it seems you don't have much in common once you're out. Life gets busy and leads us all in different directions.
