I'm from Long Beach, California, originally.. And, I have met a couple of famous, young people, one even went to my Jr.High School.. Their not famous now, but were when I was a teen.. Rodney Allen Rippey, did "Jack in the Box" comercials, and gave me, his agents, address, and phone number,,, Our mom took us all the way too Los Angeles, when we were like, 12, and 13, my sister & I , and they turned us down, because we didn't have a talent... They said they weren't a Modeling agency.. However, I'd look in the Los Angeles, Yellow pages, we just got a lucky break, running into Rodney Allen Rippey, at the doctors, office. The other friend use to be on the Gap, comercials, and came to my 12th birthday party, Ha-Ha!! Talk about taking me mentally back in time.. Anywhere, in the Los Angeles area, you should be able to find something out. .. Janet, from Threes Company, got jobs, from being a pushy waitress: Where famous Celebrities, use too dine.. And look at her, now..She wouldn't give up bugging those Celebrities, into giving her a shot...or phone numbers, or something to that effect.. That's something to think about in the future, if you dont have any success, now... Going to work at any of the stores, they shop at, or waiting tables, or doing Valla' parking their cars.. Anything, around Wilshire Blvd., in Hollywood,or Hollywood Hills, area's....... of Los Angeles. Good-Luck, hun !!!

It depends on where you live. If you are in the midwest, say, Omaha, then you are only going to find phoney acting schools. In New York, Seattle or LA, you can find them by the scores. It doesn't mean they will work with you but you can find them.
