I work in a fish and chip shop and have all the fans on and the windows and doors open but we were melting till I got the idea to put a load of ice cubes in a thin sleeve what my pea cartons come in and wrap a thin tea towel round it and wear it round your neck like a scarf. It lasts a while (but obviously dont let the ice cubes melt too much) and then just pop the sleeve back into the freezer to use again.
