ok ok, so im having trouble. im leaning more on maiden right now, just cause im really into the whole bruce dickinson solo stuff right now. how bout you guys give me reason why i should pick maiden or priest...PLEASE!

Both! I am totally an 80's metalhead...
I love both equally. Both Judas Priest and Iron Maiden are seminal heavy bands who helped pave the way for all heavy music today...

Wow, I haven't listened to them since like 1987. I was kinda partial to Iron Maiden back in the day but had cassette tapes of both bands that I listened to all the time. I saw Maiden in concert once.

Both rock, but I'll stay with Maiden cause, I think they've been evolving as time goes by, and they're still creating great music and not livin of their 80's hits (The Wickerman, Rainmaker, Brave New World)
