Yeah.. it is taking football a bit too far to cry like that when England lost. I was really taken aback to see the entire English team CRY like that. That is not 'passion'... that's being silly !!! Yet, now that the World Cup is over I keep seeing dozens of English flags on the roads that fall off cars and nobody cares to pick 'em up !! --What sort of patriotism is that ? Maybe we have learned a lesson in England this time that when the press start telling us that "we will this Euro or that World Cup" we can tell the press to get lost and not build up too unrealistic hopes.

Not me,I never cry when England looses. England always has a lot of hype but its often all hype and England is such a bandwagon team. They have a lot of good players but lets face it they never really ever gel as a team..

They squeaked by till that point, their end was coming and everyone knew it. I don't think anyone really saw them beating Portugal... If England gets out of the group stages that is an accomplishment for them. Group B was such a weak group to start out with both England and Sweden squeaked threw the group stage together and then lost their first game in the quarter finals and got sent home.

I was in the mall during the match and a big celebration started after they lost. We didn't celebrate because Portugal won but because that sucky team England was out!

I was very sad. They are my favorite. But they were kind of slacking. C Ronaldo. is a baby and cries if you touch him.
