I think the first answer sums it up pretty well.

While I don't agree with abortion - once a life is created I think it should be allowed to continue. Yes even if I was raped and found out I was going to have a child I would have the child - not sure I would keep it (plenty of families out there want children and I don't want children).

Sex-Ed really needs to be increased - and if parents are not going to do it then the schools should. I was blessed, or was it cursed with a religious up bringing and so I didn't actually learn "about" sex until I was in my mid teens. (home schooled - don't get me started on that topic) Even then what I've learned has been from on-line, books and other sources - my parents view was "don't have sex until you are married" and I suppose when I'm married sex gets me kids so that's a good thing? NOT.

It's really a shame more people can't take responsibility for their actions - it takes two people to make a child, if we just could teach children about what their choices bring about - and instill in them some ability to take responsibility vs blaming everything on someone or something then we might do a lot to end actions that cause those unwanted children from being conceived in the first place.

You want to prevent abortion? Then prevent unwanted pregnancies. Eliminate rape and incest and stop this taboo about teaching people about birth control. If women weren't forced to have sex against their will and everybody used contraception every single time, we wouldn't be having this debate.
