We know who we are and what the Italians have accomplished. There is no need for all this foolishness going back and forth insulting eachother!! We should be celebrating the fact that we won and stop with all this bickering!! I'm at fault myself but you know what??? It's not going to get us anywhere because there will always be people that are jealous, ignorant, arrogant and not able to accept the reality of life! That's not for us to judge or criticize!!Let's not lower ourselves to their level!
We are the champions and let's act like champs!!

Italy won fair and square! In the Italy/Australia game the play leading up to the penalty kick two Australian players were FAKED OUT OF THEIR SHOES so one of them fell in front of the Italians feet! It was a good call and a fair penalty shot! Lets face it Australia played the best they could while Italy played like they were bored! Also Italy didn't have their best player, Nesta!
All you cry baby France fans need to realize that Italy actually won in regular time 2-1. Luca Toni's goal in the second half (at 62 min) was taken away because of a bad offsides call even though he was clearly NOT offsides! Instant reply does not lie! Even Frances first goal should of never happened. It was a questionable call. Instant reply didn't seem to show any contact! The best team won, ITALY. Get over it!

Tony, I too was one of those that did not feel that Italy should have won the cup but they did and as has been said a thousand times, its time to get over it. However, you and your following continue to perpetuate a lot of trash talk that is the very substance of what a lot of people found objectionable about the Italians. You want to take the ammunition away from them then quite proving them right. Have you not watched the news of late - people finding reasons to bad mouth other people is literally getting people killed. Isn't it enough to make you think that maybe, just maybe there might be a better way to express yourself than at the risk of putting others down. Yet Let us not forget the 2-0 victory over Germany, the team that was called the best and playing on their own country, for the love of God. Beat that.

You have strong opinions and that is great, but just because others do not share that opinion Tony does not make them anti Italian or scumbags as you so often refer to them. You have opinions on other teams and probably on me and mine but I do not come on here calling you such derogatory names. Time to let go of all the hatred towards each other. Every nation has their good and bad. Every user has their opinion and it isn't realistic to think that people will all think the same or agree on the same things as they won't. That's just how it is. A difference of opinion doesn't necessarily make someone a racist or anti Italian, it just means their opinions and views are different from yours.
