I noticed on the fall lineup that another show is listed in Invasion's timeslotl.

ABC did cancel Invasion. Or rather, they just did not renew it for their fall schedule.
I have included a link where to see ABC's fall schedule for the day their shows premier, and sadly, it looks like the show The Nine took Invasions time slot in their lineup.
Good news though: Look for the complete series to be released on DVD on August 22nd!

Unfortunately they did. The season will be available on DVD this August and is being advertised as the "only season" of the show. Hopefully there will be a lot of extras on the DVDs that tell us what they were hoping to do the next season or better yet, a bonus episode or two.

man really? I liked that show... due to the storyline I don't suppose it could continue much longer...But MAN i loved that show... I even started to prefer it over Lost....
the guy that played the Sheriff was really hot, I liked how you knew there was something more to him then what he was actually showing... a man of secrets..ooh ahh...

I hope they haven't, I enjoyed the show very much. It was was very interesting how the invaders wormed their way into the community.
