I have hear that the North-American people think that in Brazil exists only beautiful womans, carnaval and football and that they all live in a poor situation. Is this information truth?

NO. Only the uneducated ones think this. My understanding is that it has a pretty good economy and a rich culture.

I have not met any Brazilian people, at least none that I know of, and I have never been there, so I really cannot answer as to what I think of the people. From what I have heard from people that have visited there, it is a beautiful country and has some awesome beaches.
The only thing I can say for sure is some awesome metal bands are from Brazil - Angra and Shaman being my favorites of them.

Here's what I know.
Brazil:
Large Rainforests
Tropical climate
Loves soccer
Only major airline went bankrupt
Main language Portugees
That's about it, only what I've read and I havn't read a lot about the people exactly just facts about the country.
As is true about many places. The only reason why poeple know so much about Americans is because we export our pop culture, even then, the truth is always more complicated that what you see in movies and magazines.

No we know a bit more about Brazil than that. Brazilian people are like people everywhere with their faults and blessings.

I love brazilian people as long as they stay in their country and don't move to the US. I am American.
