Absolutely. As of 7/19, they have the longest current winning streak of anyone in baseball (8 in a row) and they have won 13 of there last 14. Also, their best pitcher in the past has been Bartolo Colon, and he has been out for most of the year. Arguably their best pitcher currently, Jered Weaver, has been in the minors most of the year. Both should be with the team the rest of the year (granted they stay healthy). Many will claim the Angels have the record they have because a lack of offense. Well, if their pitching holds up like it has been, they won't need hardly any offense. Also, Angels took 3 out of 4 vs Oakland (the team they are chasing) and only loss was due in large part to the Angels bullpen.

I think the Angels have all the necessary tools to at least win the West division title again. I still think that they need another bat in the order. I can't believe that Soriano is there for the taking and they are not making even a minimal offer.
The starting pitching can only hold on for so long. Vladimir can carry the team but he needs minimum help. Cabrera is having a nice season-so far. Hopefuly, they'll be able to continue with this hot streak.

They will win the division. The Rangers' pitching has been a fluke, and the A's need to blow up their roster because they have a lot of parts that don't fit. The Mariners COULD give the Angels a run if they make the right moves at the deadline. But, since you're an Angels fan, you know full well that Bill Bavasi won't make the right moves.

They are finally thinking right by bring up Kendrick. They have the worst defense and Soscia was trying to make defense a staple of the team!? WHY!? You obviously suck at it... accept it.
Best quote "All he can do is hit" - Soscia about Kendrick
Ya, Kendrick only hits for .400 and power in the minors... why would you need that?
That being said, I like the Angels, and their pitching is off the charts. Once they start making hitting and scoring part of their game it is over... plus I think they'll make the move to get Sori.

STAT wise, I do not really know about the Angels. But generally, I think that they S-U-C-K! I am a Yankees fan, and if the Yanks had beaten the Angels in last years ALDS, they could've had a shot at the World Series title, since the White Sox suck huge against the Yankees. So, you, as an Angels fan, you suck!

Well I am a phillies fan for 41yrs and they have only been in the playoffs once in the last 23yrs. I am about to give up.
As for the Angels; No I don't think they have a chance. There are too many good teams in the American League.
