can haveing an abortion a yr ago stop me from having kids now??

No you can still get pregnant but the possibility of a miscarriage is slightly increased after an abortion (not by much). But the more abortions you have, the harder it may be to successfully conceive. But again you should have no problem. I know two different people who have had 3 or more abortions and now have little ones here in the world so your chances are good.

The only way that you wouldn't be able to get pregnant again after an abortion is if there was extensive scarring of the uterus. My advice would be to go to a doctor and have a complete workup to make sure that there would be no problems from your previous abortion. This is a valid question, one we get all the time, so don't feel bad for asking it.

Dont think so. Depends on what the doctor told you. I mean a girl who had one abortion and she cant have any kids but my girl's mother had 7 and she still gets pregnant. So i guess it depends on the individual

nope, having an abortion does not make you sterile. Meet with your doctor first, though, before getting pregnant. They can check your "plumbing" to ensure everything is still healthy. Also, they'll probably start you on a regimen of prenatal vitamins before you even start trying to get pregnant.

Unless the abortion created complications, then no. Check with your doctor to see if you are okay to have a baby.

If there were complictions~yes. But, I have known people who have gotten pregnant after having an abortion.

unless the uterus was damaged from a sloppy abortion, your chances of getting pregnant again are fine . . . see your doctor to a complete check up

I dont think that one can stop you...If you were to have let say 5..then your chances would be grater to not be able to carry a baby. I think personally that one is too many...but hopefully you wont have anymore

Not likely. If it was done properly and there was no damage, you will be able to have kids with no problem.
