Get a lawyer.
Only you can file for bankruptcy but he may have a case on the privileged information matter.

From what I understand ,generally when it comes to slander or libel cases, your ex boss has to prove that the allegations are not true. Thus, the burden is on him in this case.I don't understand how he can put a bankruptcy claim against you, however, if he is the cause why you didn't get a mortgage, rest assured that would be his downfall A lawyer would gladly take your case. keep meticulous records of his comments, with dates and times and even phone calls. Record your conversations (phone) . Even if this cannot be used, you have proof of his wrong doings. Couldn't hurt. When he prevents you from getting a home, that would be the time to secure a lawyer. Keep all the threatening e-mails and times. Print out what you sent to the tribunal. Arm yourself with information before you make your move. He may not realize that he's the one who has to prove the statements are not true. Good luck and I hope this helped some.

You are liable for the truth and accuracy of ALL the information you provide to the tribunal service, however such information is subject to legal confidence no matter what method it is sent to the tribunal service.

However if the information you have provided is found to be wrong! you are liable for the consequences of it being wrong.

You cannot be make bankrupt unless you owe over 12,500 to one person or 25,000 to a group of person and this debt must be proved to a court.

You should get advice from the tribunal service as this is harassment which is illegal, and sounds like your employer is a very bad loser..

PS you never mentioned if the information you sent was in fact wrong and that's the cause of this problem or it was right and the employer is upset because they lost!

this is harassment and threatening behaviour.

Contact the police.

Employment Tribunals are in the public domain but all information you give to a Tribunal should be correct, that's what witness statements are for. It is like a Court.

the issue is proving what ideas became offered. maximum businesses will only furnish: employment dates and position held. now and again an company will say issues verbally yet "off the list" and proving it is virtually no longer plausible. in case you could tutor that they gave unfavourable ideas, authentic or pretend, then they could be answerable for damages in case you probably did not get a job because of it. once back, not basic to tutor.

YES, if it was confidential information, so, if I were you, get a lawyer , copy down all info or anything that comes from your ex-boss and give it to your lawyer and proceed from there.
