If any house was on fire, my family would be first. If there was no time to save them all, then I would save my children first then my spouse if I had time. After that - laptop computer and passports. Followed by wallet, basic clothes and keys.

Any people inside starting with the youngest as they would be less likely to get out on their own. If it seemed safe enough, I'd grab my wallet, cell phone, and car keys too, and the DVDs I use to back up home videos/DVDs and such.

If I still had time, I'd grab jewelry, any beer in the fridge, my toothbrush and such and pack a suitcase, and I'd start to wonder what I was panicking about if I had this much time.

My pictures of family. They're the only things you can't replace, especially since most of us tend to store the negatives together with the pictures. And for good measure I'd take my husband with me. LOL He'd most likely be the first thing I'd throw out the door or window, whatever the case maybe.

My biggest fear is fire as it is truly a living thing wants it gets started (breaths oxygen and grows). My family and photo albums/discs would be what I would grab ... well, photos if I can. It would be my top priority to get my loved ones out. Everything else can be replaced. You cannot replace a life.
