I think just a needle poke. We had scorpions in our house!!!! It was so scary.

Its a needle poke unless you swat it while its stinging you, then it could lose the stinger. Also, if you kill one on the carpet, the stinger could come off and you can still get stung by it! The sting is worse than a bee, but not as bad as a black widow bite!

Scorpions do not leave a stinger like wasps. the scorpions sting only injects the venom into its prey or an enemy when the sting is used defensively.

Bees leave their stinger, wasps can sting repeatedly as long as they want, only the first sting has venom.
Scorpions can sting repeatedly and vary the strength and quantity of venom they deliver.
I think i got that right.
