I think no person should have to be politically correct because if you cant respect the fact that others have an opinion and it does not have to agree with yours then who cares if your feelings are hurt. The only reason people expect politically correctness is because they dont want to offend but why is the offened persons right to feel offended greater than the person offending's right to speak.

I hate being politically correct, and I generally avoid it. The only term I use that's PC is "dwarf" or "little person". There's something about calling a dwarf a midget that's just wrong. Other than that, blacks are blacks, whites are whites, handicapped people are handicapped or crippled...not disabled.. I'm not doing this to be mean...it's just the terms we used when I was growing up (late 70s/early 80s) and I'm used to it.

i have said this before and i wil say it again. this politically correct stuff is just crap. we live in a society where people are afraid to offend ANYONE. so we water down all our words. .. the plain and simple fact of life people is that if you believe in ANYTHING. it doesnt matter what it is. you have automatically offended SOMEONE . becuase there wil alwys be one person who does not agree. its called being a grown up and not whining if someone says something you dont like. it is a free country. thats what makes up all individuals. so in order not to offend someone you have to believe in nothing. .. sad huh??

People ought to get the damn chip off their shoulder. They look for an excuse to be "Offended".

Political correct speach is "Newspeak", its an attempt at thought controll by the Liberals.

No we shouldn't always be politically correct. Nowadays it seems that people aren't allowed to have their own opinions. And my own opinions are usually based on my own experiences. Which aren't always politically correct.
