i am going to a different high school than all my friends so i am sooooo lost any advice?

Just find your niche, be open to everybody and make an impression. Get involved and you'll make friends in no time.

I'm a dad and hopefully you will read this. You can expect alot of peer pressure.Find a couple of nice girls that you have something in common with beware of being talked into doing something that doesn't seem right. DONT be affraid to talk to ur parents and if they are not available then perhaps a school councellor. Your main object is your education but in between that and fighting off the peers there's gonna be a lot of FUN.!!! Hope I helped you.

I know your like "lady is on crack" but I'm not! Think about it, all your friends will still be your friends, but your getting a chance to meet new people without a pre-determined posse!
You get to make new friends, find new interests and set a new life up for yourself. Find a sport, club, or team that you want to be on and DO IT. Don't worry about what they will think about you, throw yourself into it.
I am a sophomore and I know that I am still friends with all the people I went into high school with but, I am friends with so many older kids that's my main crowd. I joined the newspaper, quiz bowl, the girls soccer team, speech and debate and the creative writing class. I'm so happy I did too. I have TONS of friends and there is always someone to help with homework, plus there is the traveling!
Just throw yourself into school and the friends will flock to you. Be yourself, shine, and do what you love! Your old friends will still be there just not at school with you!
Look at this as a way to expand your horizons and find yourself! High school ROCKS. Its the best. So make it the best!
I have faith that you will find your way to rock your school! So just do it!

Don't worry about it. You are going to be find. I'm going into 10th grade and when i found out that i had passed 8th i was so scared because i didn't know what to expect, either. But it was awesome. But there are older guys there and i dont know what you look like but they might be all over you, there's more fights, cusing, girls who are pregnant. You name it, its there. Some of the guys you might go out with or become your boyfriend might just want sex from you. then again you might end up like me and find the one you want to spend the rest of your life with. Just be yourself. If you make a false personality, you're going to be stuck with that image, and lose new friends. Find people to hang out with the same interests as you. High school is the same as middle school, you just have more responsibilities and it's more mature. If you're a freshman, ignore the idiots.

Well... Um.. what I did when I was going into high school is I got there early and walked around campus.... and once I got my schedule I went around to all of my classes b4 school so I would know how to get there..... but my biggest piece of advice would be Just relax because you are going to be perfectly fine... I promise you

Okay i'm going into high school too. To me you should expect it to be like when you first went to middle school. U can just be yourself and your friends will find u. U can make friends any where.

Expect more homework, harder tests, therefore more studying. Don't be a fake. Don't make friends just to act "cool". Those are the worst people you can find.
