If you are too young or not is up to the parents. My guess would be that they are spoiling you. There are phones for kids that will just call the parents and only receive calls from the parents. Until you are old enough to understand how much work it takes to pay the phone bill, I wouldn't give my 11 year old a a flip phone with a camera.

when I was younger and is only about (12 years ago) my parents didn't even have cell phones. Their friends didn't even have them, unless they were in the business world. I think that 15 is even too young to have a cell phone. Then positive thing I can say about having a cell phone is that you can contact your kid whenever you want too. At the same time when you are younger you are not as responsible. I am not saying that you are not responsible but having a cell phone at 11 is too young.

ill be honest. Having a phone at the age of 11 is a little young. But as long as your responsible which i hope you are, you should be fine. Things to watch out:
1.) how many minutes do you have
2.) text message make sure its not charged. sometimes it costs money for every message
3.) dont lose it.
other than that you should be fine. its just a matter of being responsible. i didnt get mine till i was 14.

YES. Because having a cell phone is also being responsible of your belongings. May be in due time your friends would be able to have one pretty soon. If they're responsible enough to own one.

At your age what is the point of having a cell phone? I don't see one. Many MANY generations prior to your's survived without one. Parents are giving in to children's demands too easily.

I would say definitely. I didn't get a cellphone until I started college 3 years ago. And I don't even have a camera phone.

no it is a good Idea for kids to have cam phones so that they can take pics when they are doing extracorictular activities behind the gym
