No, it's better to be yourself. Have you ever heard the saying "it's better to be hated for who you are than loved for who you are not"?? Don't lose yourself just because you want to be more appealing to someon else.

Do whatever makes you happy without compromising who you are! Being popular really means you have allot of friends, so go out and meet people. The more friends you have on your side the more support you'll have in your life. Most people that are popular aren't especially happy with themselves, so what really seems glamorous, is really just a front. Don't be afraid to be who you are no matter what. Just be yourself and all kinds of people will come flocking.

If you aren't popular you can go ahead and try to be, but don't change who you are just to be in with the in crowd.

i dont think that people should try to be popular even if they want to be because everybody fits into their own group and if you become popular you'll get caught up in everything and loose your friends!!!
