hezbollah is shooting off rockets in front of the buildings at night and return fire takes out government buildings. they are much smarter then you give them credit for.

Because the Lebanese government will not send in the Lebanese military to oust the Hezbollah militia ,so the only way for Israel to combat the Hezbollah is to strike where they are hiding.What people don't know or refuse to acknowledge is Israel has asked the UN for over six years to do something about Hezbollah. They have been firing on Israel for years and threatening Israel's demise and Lebanon was supposed to remove Hezbollah from their country and chase them back to Syria almost twenty years ago.The world sat back on its haunches while over 9 million Jews were slaughtered during WWII, Does anybody really believe they're going to sit back and watch their citizens being kidnapped and burnt and do nothing about it. I don't think their real concern is what building gets bombed, they are in this for their survival.I think a better question would be "Why are the world leaders not helping with the eradication of this terrorist Islamic force?"

Because part of the original cease fire agreement was that Lebanon was supposed to remove Hezbellah from the border. Something they haven't done. Also, Hezbellah is now a legit part of the lebanese government having won 11 seats in their versoin of congress. Which makes the lebanese government a legit target.

actually new studies and records of the American Red Cross is now stating that it was more like 2 million that died during WW II........
